What It’s Like To Get Dugg!
I’m not sure what I expected, but reality is a wake up call you don’t want to miss! I’ve been taking pictures of people in New Media & Technology now for nearly a year and I’ve taken pictures of some notable people and events (e.g. Pete Casmore of Mashable, Jason Calacanis of Mahalo, Ashton Kutcher or Blah Girls, CES, The Crunchies, etc.,) but nothing compared to the attention I got from shooting a Diggnation event recently held @ The Knitting Factory here in L.A. Views of my pics went from a couple hundred a day to hundreds of thousands. All total, the views for January 17, 2009 topped out at 214,240. Talk about a powerful network. Kevin, I don’t care what people say, you deserve every last bit of credit. You’ve earned it and you’ve proven yourself over and over again. Thank you and all the people at Digg for allowing me the opportunity to shoot your event. I had a blast and the digg love was something I’ll remember for quite a while.
