Ashton Fever: Hollywood comes to Silicon Valley
It’s kind of funny really. Everyone at TechCruch50 was doing whatever they could to make Ashton & Co. feel at home and not like some freak of nature in a jar with thousands of giant faces poking at the glass, but there were still times when we all broke down and just wanted to take a picture with a celeb. It’s not like Ashton & Demi were that different than us (they both showed up to rub elbows at the Monday night after party). In fact, they were the normal ones. Ashton proved his geek cred in a video interview with Francisco Dao and TechZulu, but as you will see, it’s still hard to believe that anyone as Hollywood cool as Ashton Kutcher would consider himself one of us. In the end, we (the TechCrunch50 crowd) embraced Ashton and BlahGirls.com.
