One of the coolest things about this year’s TechCrunch50 event was that my photos were used by Animoto to create a visual representation of the days happenings (whatever you do, don’t call them ‘slide shows’ as their tag line is “The end of slide shows.”). Every couple of hours or so, someone would track me down and exchange CF (compact flash) cards with me so that they could upload them to the Animoto site. Go ahead and click on the video so you can see what they did with my images. Pretty amazing stuff, especially when you see them on a huge screen. Reminds me of the old days when I used to create 3 screen multi-media assemblies that toured all over the world. Sigh! I miss those days, but I wouldn’t go back to them. I like the ‘now,’ and I can’t wait to see what the ‘future’ holds for me.
