Personal Branding: The ‘wmmarc’ Image When creating an image… something for people to remember you by, it’s always best to hit as many senses as possible. So, when I decided to design my personal business cards I took special care to make them tactile, as well as visual. I used a company and a process that is making quite a stir these days, ETCHSTAR. They can laser etch just about anything. It was a natural for them to do my business cards and everyone that gets one is blown away by my design and the feel of the card. And, because it makes such an impact, it’s easy to get people like Gary Vaynerchuk of Wine Library TV and the New Media King of Marketing and Self Promotion to agree to pose with my card. I took this pic of Gary, my card and Amanda Coolong of BetaPR.com and TechZulu.com at this year’s New Media Expo which was held in Las Vegas for the first time.
